libcanary-stability-perl software package provides canary to check perl compatibility for schmorps modules, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcanary-stability-perl
libcanary-stability-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcanary-stability-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcanary-stability-perl *
You will get with libcanary-stability-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
